Blogging drought comes to an end....all for good reasons: Feild trip with room 125....

Hellooooo!
We have been so busy, getting decorations out and up around the house, traveling all around to see folks...getting caught up on house stuff....
I love this season...did I say how much I love this season....whew...I love it.....
So anyhow...as I spoke about in my intro...I have gone on yet another "o' so fun" expedition with my crew of special, yes, o' yes very special children. We decided it was time to get the kids out of the classroom and out into the community to experience "social integration"...so in other words we took them to Wal-mart and Pizza Hut. Does not sound so bad huh..."a brilliant idea inspector"...So we head out with 11 boys and 1 wonderful y0ung lady and 4 adults on a 18 degree day to the great Napoleon SuperDuper Wal-mart...O'my gosh becky.....The kids could hardly contain themselves. We started out in the toys, 11 out of the 12 decided it would be great to buy self inflated whoopee cushions...which still to me is quite hilarious. So imagine "senior citizen day" with special children mixed in...armed with whoopee cushions...it was pretty funny. The best part came when my little dude who is a second grader with Aspergers syndrome...who is just the funniest kid...well he finds one of those machines that you can push the buttons to hear different clips of music...he proceeds to push the button with the picture of dogs on it..(keeps in mind he is asbergers...and these kids obsess over stuff...his is dogs) so anyhow, he pushed the button with the dog on it and low and behold...the song begins..."WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? WHOWHOWHO..WHO LET THE DOGS OUT" So I dance a little jig, UNTIL I get a glimpse out of the corner of my eye of my 2 grade dude, who now has his shirt pulled up slapping his belly, singing at the top of his lungs....not to mention then my other child who comes from a very strong Naz background, tells everyone how inappropriate that song is and pushes another button...so guess what song comes on then...You won't believe it..."Our God is an awesome God"...which this child then proceeds to sing at the top of his lungs...so here we are in Wal-mart having our own little worship time....it was so funny. Then I had to yell at the only girl in the whole group, she was running and jumping to see if she could hit the signs in the frozen food department. Keep in mind that she only comes a little past my elbows...they were insane...wild...Pizza Hut is a story in its self too....wow. The buffet was wiped out.....I'll have to write about that another day though...
So anyhow, enough about my kids. I have so much to be thankful for...had our first house church gathering, it was so great, touching, and spirit led...read Chris's blog for more details...
