Happy Birthday, Daddy...and more...

Today my dad turns 55. He is the best dad in the whole world. I am more blessed than I could ever say. He was celebrated today. I love you daddy very much. Happy Birthday.
Had gathering tonight instead of last night. It was great. We had some new folks over, it was great getting to know them. Hoping to form more indepth relationship with them. Gathering was good tonight. I missed Dani and Erica though. They are having too much fun traveling around Cali...
Had a hard day with Macee. She was in rare form. Hateful and such. Ahhh. It was difficult. Chris pretty much handled it with her all day. He did a great job, trying to help her understand the difficulties etc. She pretty much decided today that she did not want to listen to either of us. She is not usually like that, and tends to mind and be polite etc. without much prompting etc. NOT TODAY...however as the evening rolled around it got better. She is such my sunshine, today there where just a few clouds though.
Better go.

Donna's House Candle Co.
Candles handpoured for you by:
Sara Dilbone
*My feelings: I named my little candle co. Donna's House for the very reason that there is really no place like home. Donna's house was a very loving, peaceful, and safe place full of Christ's love. There are many things that we can do to make our homes special places to be. One of my favorite little things that my mom did was filling our home with the wonderful scents of candles. I too have done the same at our home. Usually you won't enter without the warming smell of a candle burning.
*About my candles:
Feel at home here, support my becoming debt free by ordering one of my wonderful candles. They are all natural soy, and triple scented. All candles are white or off white in color unless we discuss otherwise. I do have other colors to offer. Good Morning...

So I finally got to bed before midnight last night and it felt great to have a good nights sleep. Today is library day. Macee loves going to the library. We go to story time, then look at books and play in the castle etc.
We have gathering tonight. I am looking forward to it. I miss my pals and feel the need to see everyone. They are part of my family.
I had/have planned to work on my kitchen this summer. I started stripping the really ugly wall paper, it is so much work, and does not like to come off. I am using the fabric softener and vinegar idea to remove the paper. Anyone have any other great ideas?
In my family, did you know that white butterflies are a sign that someone who has gone before you is thinking about you.? I see one every morning flying outside of my big bay window. I think that is so cool. I know a little weird but cool.
Played mad-libs last night. It was so hilarious at one point. I laughed so hard.
Anyhow, nothing profound in my mind today. Just random morning thoughts. I hear little feet coming down the steps....she is so cute...

hmmmm...

I couldn't find a nice title...
I like my trees...the one closest to the road. If it could talk it would have many stories to tell...
I like the jeans I have on. They are so comfortable.
Macee told me I need to shave my legs because they were tickling her legs, and that it looked like Daddy's face before he shaves...I had actually just shaved the day before...but I got cold and my legs hairs grew.
This has been the worlds longest week and weekend....we have gotten to bed a like 1:30 or so everyday this week.
We had family pictures Friday night. All like 25 of us. I think they will turn out great. Especially if I am in them:)...The photographer took some really cute ones of the kiddos...I cannot wait to see them. The cool thing is that the Lord kept the rain away just so that all 25 of us could get our picture taken together. Then when the large group picture was done, the rains came down. We moved the pictures into the barn where there was a back drop...all pictures where done on wagons that my grandfather had worked on etc. Then as the photographer was getting ready to leave, he saw Zay and Macee eating popsicles, without their shirts on sitting on the steps, heads back, laughing....so sweeet....so he started snapping pictures. I cannot wait to see them.
One thing I kept thinking is that the last time we had those pictures taken my mom was alive, now folks are going to take these pictures home and replace the old one with the new one. Oddly enough that bothered me. Just inside.
So on a different note; Anyone interested in ordering candles let me know. I can send you the information/order form via email. I hate to ask for any takers, but I need to start peddling these things.
David Crowder has a new cd coming out. I cannot wait. It will be great.
I hate to write this, but there is one activity in my life that I love to do. NO I am not talking about sex, but when it's a good one, it makes you feel like a million bucks.
I like Italian food. Garlic, and asiago cheese, bread, and spices, balsalmic stuff.....man I need a visit to jersey girl..
Chris, my dear hubby is so hot. I like him.
My daughter was dressed in light yellow and dark yellow today. Mary call her 'a stick o' buttah"
I love Mary. She makes me smile. Her wisp makes me laugh too not to mention that Lars is a great stripper. Happy Birthday Erica.
Danielle makes great cake. She is the baker, I am the candle stick maker. We are trying to decide who could be the butcher....
I am so ADD, it scares me.
Pray for my sister.
I talked to my Aunt Barb (Rachel's mom) she is doing good. She said she is making it one day at a time. I love her. Pray for her.
Well I think I am going to go and sit on the porch. Today I saw the Lord. I love him too.

List form today...with some stories

Have had a few very busy weeks. Things have been good. We went to the lake with Chris's family. We had a great time. The weather is hot today....and I cannot believe that we will be in school sooner than I think....so here are the top fun things that have been going on in "Dilworld"...
-going to the lake with Chris's family...great weather, fun times with mom dilbone, and other fam, great laying out, read a wonderful book...called "Flabbergasted by Jay Blackston", and a surprise early 30 birthday party at the lake. Chris's mom and sister went out of their way to celebrate me...which is unusual in it's self...Chris's mom wrote me a beautiful letter, and his mom and sister combined a scrapbook of old pictures of me titled "This is your life'...you know me...I sobbed. Mom dilbone got me an amazing quilt on it, which has my favorite verse on it..Phil 4:8...which is a great reminder for me right now...i love it and felt so blessed.
-had our neighbors over and really enjoyed time with them and the Weiss-meisters...
-had a cold sore and zapped it with meds and was gone in a day...if you know me you know that that is a big deal..:)
-time at home with my daughter, laughing and cuddling, loving her pretty little face....
-went to my dads to celebrate my step moms 50th birthday...was a great time hanging out with my sweet Zayya and Essie...Macee had a great time with her buddy. Was able to help out my dad with some house stuff, got lost on the way home from St. Paris, went an hour out of our way, got home at 1:30 a.m....
-that is when the Cole"ster" got sprayed in the face by a skunk, started convulsing at the mouth, shaking and spewing gallons of dog saliva all over the breeze way, then dragging him out to the barn, dumping an entire bottle of tomato juice on him, hosing him down, then getting soaked by him shaking, imagine me with the Dilhead (Chris), me, yelling at him and Cole, as we are wrestling the dog because he hates the water....it was funny...but now I this shiny beautiful black lab that still smells like a skunk...he is now known as "Dilskunk"...
-went to a buddy's house to look at her wedding pictures. Had a great time laughing and had wonderful brownies. I had fun, thanks girls, I needed that!
-have grown my fingernails out, and have them painted...not a big deal to anyone but me, but it is one of those things that look nice.
-found out that my Aunt has leukemia, not sure what the course of treatment will be yet...but please pray for her, her name is Amy, and our family has just about had enough...everyone is doing good though and are standing together to get through all of this.
-i love my dad, and miss my sister. Wish she could move here...
-e.s. you really know how to stir the kettle...
-Dani, I hope you are having fun today...:)
-looking forward to running around with my hubby and Macee today.
Better go...anyhow...
